All musicians of the Band are members of both the Concert band and the Marching Band. At the conclusion of the Marching Season in early November, the Band begins the concert music we need to prepare throughout the year. Our Winter Concert is in December, the POP’s Concert is in February and the Spring Concert is in May.

Every member receives a group lesson each week as we strive to grow as musicians and perfect our concert music. Selections in recent years have include “The Marriage of Figaro,” “Candide,” “Symphonie #5 by Shostakovich” and “Else’s Procession.”

The Band has won NYSSMA honors in levels IV, V and VI and has competed in concert competitions including the Sherburne Pageant of Bands.
