 The Jazz Band is a co-curricular activity that meets after school. The big performance for the year is the POP’s concerts as well as other invitations and performance opportunities. Music performed has included On Green Dolphin Street. Our Jazz Band’s biggest splash came in 1987 when they were invited to travel to France with the Amityville LeBourget Alliance. Members performed numerous times and stayed with families. Trips to Normandy, the Ile de France and many days in Paris were all part of a very special time in the life of those who traveled.
